Henrietta D. Mikutis

Henrietta D. Mikutis (nee McGowan) age 81 of Maple Shade, NJ passed away on Monday September 11, 2023. Born in Philadelphia on April 16, 1942 to the late James and Henrietta McGowan. Henrietta formerly worked as assistant to the Dean for Alumni Relations at Temple Dental School. She enjoyed volunteer work with Urban Promise in Maple Shade, the Maple Shade Food Bank and with the USO at the Philadelphia Airport. Henrietta was also an active member with the OLPH Seniors Club in Maple Shade.
 
Beloved wife of Albert Mikutis, loving mother of Penny (Don) Tedesco, dear Nana of Alex and Jimmy Tedesco and also known as Nana to many of her grandsons' friends, cherished sister of the late Thomas and James McGowan, sister-in-law of Eileen McGowan, Mary Ellen McGowan, and Fran Mikutis-Hamburg. Henrietta will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Saturday, September 16th 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church, 3001 Levick Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19149. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM.  Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
