W. Allen Small, Jr. age 81, of Pennsauken passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Born in Camden, NJ on June 19, 1939, he was a lifetime area resident. Allen retired from Schutte and Koerting in Cornwell Heights, Pa. He was a member and Past Master of Henry S. Haines Lodge #253 F.&A.M., Audubon, NJ and also a member of the Haddonfield Lodge. Allen was an avid train collector and member of Cherry Valley and Merchantville Train Clubs. Allen along with his brother Bob, enjoyed restoring 1949-50 Ford pick-up trucks. He took pleasure in hunting and fishing as well.
Son of the late Willard A., Sr. and Mary Small, father of the late Cynthia Small, and brother of the late Carolyn Fick, Allen is survived by his loving companion of 35 years Janet Trombley, loving son Allen,III (Rebecca) Small, dear brother Robert (Jean) Small, brother-in-law Tim Fick, cherished grandchildren Michael (Grace) Small, Nathan Small, and Jennifer (Matt) Myers, adored great grandchildren Jacob, Nathan, Tyler, Gabriel and Colson, and also many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Allen's viewing and visitation with his family on Sunday evening, August 16th 7-9 pm and Monday morning, August 17th 10-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park. Social distancing will be in effect, facial coverings are required, and visitors are asked to leave the premises and return to their cars immediately after paying their respects.
