Theresa Lynch

Theresa Lynch, of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on October 16, 1937, Theresa (Toni) had a successful career in banking and was a woman ahead of her time, rising through the ranks of the industry that was male-dominated  becoming Vice President of Marketing at United Jersey Bank.   She journeyed through retirement years, enjoying  the simple joys of life.  

Theresa was predeceased by her son, John Lynch.  She is  survived by her daughter, Theresa Potts and her husband, Dan,  grandchildren, Dan Potts and his wife Michelle, Ryan Potts and his wife Tara, and Meredith Lindsay and her husband Corin. Theresa's legacy continued to blossom with her great-grandchildren, Bryce, Easton, Kendall, Callie, Tyler, and Lauren Theresa Potts.  She is also survived by her loving companion in life, James Hettel.

Theresa was a beloved sister to Lorretta Brennan, Fran Weisiger, Connie Elia, Nick Mancini and sister-in-law, Anna Mancini, Patty Sever, and Bill Fox. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Fox. Her life was further enriched by the presence of several nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

A woman of many interests, Theresa found solace in the tranquility of her garden and the thrill of discovering treasures while shopping in antique stores, thrift shops  and estate sales.  She found a new passion, during the pandemic of propagating plants, especially gardenias, which she then passed on to many.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am, Monday, April 15th at Christ Our Light RC Church, 402 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation at the church from 10 am until time of service.
