Terri E. Adamczyk

Terri E. Adamczyk, on December 28th, 2024 age 62 of Maple Shade, NJ. Beloved sister of Katherine Adamczyk and John Michael Adamczyk. Dear aunt of Justin (Nicole) Adamczyk-DeLarhe, Regina Adamczyk-DeLarge (Ervin Ray) and Katrina Adamczyk-DeLarge (Joey Downing). Loving grand aunt of Adrienne, Teigan, Titan, Frankie and Sage. Predeceased by her parents John and Grace Adamczyk.

Terri was a graduate of Washington College and received her MFA at the University of Massachusetts. She was deeply passionate about literature and poetry and read almost every day without fail. Throughout her life she was a dedicated poet, and had recently published a collection of her poems titled The Amnesiac's Birthday in 2021, in which she writes about the struggles of her life and transforms these struggles into stunning art. It was her proudest achievement, and at the time of her passing, she was working diligently on her second book. Her poetry echoes the experiences spent abroad in the Eastern bloc countries with much cultural sensitivity . She was an informed and engaged citizen of the world and reflected on many social issues in her poetry. She was to spend her happiest years on the "Language Floor" at Washington College where she developed many life-long friends. Her talents were many: she created greeting cards, made origami, jewelry , baked. Terri was a loyal and faithful friend to many, often for decades, and she never failed to write compassionate letters to her closest friends, concerning herself more with her friends' well-being than herself. She loved unconditionally , without judgement.

In spite of the many health challenges she faced throughout her life, she never renounced her faith, and persevered unfailingly , although the obstacles were often overwhelming. Never a raised voice or a cross word, Terri lived life to the fullest and will be remembered for her sensitivity , kindness and giving nature from all who had the good fortune to know and love her.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Maple Shade, N.J.
