Stella V. “Ginny” Haitz (Kuniewicz) of Maple Shade passed away on Wednesday September 22, 2021. She was 93 years old. Born on June 15, 1928 in Ambridge, Pa., she was a resident of Maple Shade for the last 61 years. Ginny retired from RCA in Moorestown where she worked as a bench assembler. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church where she was active with the Altar Rosary Society. Ginny enjoyed crocheting, visiting the casinos, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and when she could, her trips back home to Baden P.A. Most of all she loved people, spending time with her family, neighbors, friends, especially her grandchildren.
Beloved wife of the late William Haitz, loving mother of Janice (Michael) Evans, William, Jr. (Gigi) Haitz, and Keith (Teresa) Haitz, cherished grandmother of Justin (Kris), Christina, Tyler, Emily and Victoria, dear great grandmother of Kaedin and Deaghlan, sister of Richard (Mary Ellen) Kuniewicz, she also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, adopted family members and loved ones whom referred to her as “Virge, Ginny, Aunt Ginny, Aunt Virginia and Grand Mom.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Sunday evening, September 26, 6-9 pm and Monday morning 9:30-10:30 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 27, 2021, 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
