Shawn B. Wikiera

Shawn B. Wikiera of Maple Shade passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was just 34 years of age. Born in Philadelphia on October 6, 1987, he was a lifelong Maple Shade resident. Shawn worked as a laborer for the City of Burlington. He was a graduate of Maple Shade High School, and attended Rutgers University where he played baseball. Among Shawn’s many hobbies were all kinds of sports, watching movies, and volunteering at the South Jersey Food Bank. He so loved spending time with his family, friends and making people laugh! “We will miss his great sense of humor and his laughter!”

 

Beloved son of Benjamin and Colleen Wikiera (nee Gannon), devoted and loving brother of Michele Wikiera and Kelly Wikiera, proud and loving uncle of Max (age 9) and Ruby (age 5), Shawn also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, good friends and his dog Pugsley who will all miss him dearly.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation and gathering with his family on Saturday, October 8th  10 am-12 noon at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. A memorial service will follow at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
