Seymour “Sy” Herskovitz

Seymour “Sy” Herskovitz of Maple Shade, passed away on October 5, 2019. He was 84 years old. Loving husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Herskovitz, predeceased by his parents, William and Julia Herskovitz and his sister Evelyn, loving father of Wendy (Greg) Dagostino and Bryan (Tiffany) Hersch, stepfather of Michael (Kristin) Ramos and Beth Scioli, dear Pop Pop to Nicole, Michael and Matthew Perro; Amanda and Mikey (deceased) Ramos; Dana, Austin and Erin Scioli. Sadly missed by many relatives, friends and co-workers. Sy was in sales most of his adult life, starting in Snellenburgs and Lit Bros to Strawbridges and K & G. In his younger years he enjoyed singing as a professionally trained tenor. He was a member of Beverly-Riverside Masonic Lodge #107. Sy and Betty spent many years enjoying the beach in Ocean City, Md. and traveling with friends. He will also be missed by his adoring yorkies, Rocky and Miah. Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering with his family on Sunday, October 13th, 3-4 pm at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2618 New Albany Road, Cinnaminson, NJ. A memorial service will follow at 4 pm.
