Ronald Joseph Kerr, Jr.

Ronald Joseph Kerr, Jr. passed away on June 6, 2021 in Maple Shade, New Jersey surrounded by his loving family. He was 55 years old. Born on November 20, 1965 in Philadelphia, PA, Ron moved with his family to New Jersey as a child. Ron was a graduate of Cinnaminson High School.
Ron is survived by his adoring wife of 31 years, Jinni (nee Guzik), his loving daughters, Erin (Kyle Richey), Emily, and Elizabeth, and the absolute light of his life, his grandson, Jack. He is also survived by his father, Ronald Joseph Kerr, Sr., his sister, Regina Scola, his brother, Kevin (Lorie), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother, Carol (nee Barr).

Ron loved the summertime, especially spending days out by his pool with his family and a cold bottle of Rolling Rock. He enjoyed fishing, and treasured happy summer days in Ocean City, New Jersey, or at Island Beach State Park with his best friend, his wife, Jinni.
A devoted father, Ron coached recreational softball for many years. He never missed a game, concert, or ceremony for his girls. Ron was a skilled craftsman; he could build everything from rocking horses, to backyard decks, to loft beds. He was a loyal employee at CCL in Lumberton, NJ for nearly 30 years. Ron was extremely proud of his home, his work, and, especially, his family. Ron always sought to do the right thing, whether or not it was convenient for him.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with Ron’s family at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade, NJ, on Saturday, June 12, 2021, with visitation from 10:00am-12:00pm, followed by a service on site at 12:00pm.
