Roger D. Weiss

Roger D. Weiss of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on Saturday March 29, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was 89 years of age. Born on August 10, 1935 in Mt Holly to the late Theodore and Elizabeth Weiss. Roger proudly served his country in the US Marines from 1955-1958. He retired after 32 years from J. Wittman and Sons Heating and Air Conditioning in Moorestown. Roger was a lifetime member of St. John's Episcopal Church having served on the vestry and devoted much of his time on maintenance of the church. In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling and was a former member of the Jaycees in Maple Shade. Roger was a dedicated husband and loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Margie" Weiss who passed away in 2022 after 63 years of marriage, loving father of David (Linda) Weiss, Roger (Bethanne) Weiss, Margaret "Meg" (Paul) Dalton, Brian (Misty) Weiss, cherished grandfather of David, Alyssa (Frank), Christian (Elizabeth), Joshua (Kristen), Shawn, Tavia, Colton and Menna, proud great grandfather of Liliana, Harrison, Evelyn, Josephine, twins Max and Lydia, and Miles, also survived by sisters Janet Fenimore and Nancy Banks, dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation and gathering with his family on Saturday April 12th, 9-11 AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. His memorial service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
