Robert H. Worthington, Jr. of Maple Shade passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018. He was 79 years old. Bob was a lifetime resident of Maple Shade and proudly served in the US Navy. He was the retired former owner of Worthington Rigging in Westville. Bob was an avid dirt track racing fan and enjoyed fishing, shooting skeet and sporting clays. He liked to frequent local diners and coffee shops where he took pleasure talking with fellow customers.Beloved husband of the late Jeanne Worthington (nee Silvestri), he is survived by his loving children, Robert (Meri) Worthington, Scott (Debra) Worthington, and Michele Worthington, dear companion Suzanne Fisher, cherished grandchildren Scottie, Cody, Mackenzie and Rileigh, devoted sister Elaine (Tom) Eppolite and nephews Tom Eppolite and Dominic Silvestri, and his devoted dog Juls.Family and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Saturday, February 17, 2018, 11 am - 1 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Memorial service will follow at 1 pm.
