Nunzio Vincent Durso of Maple Shade passed away on Saturday February 18, 2023. He was 82 years old. Born in Philadelphia on August 29, 1940, he resided in Merchantville before moving to Maple Shade in 1966. Vince proudly served his country in the US Navy. He retired from Sears and Roebuck after working as an Appliance Manager for thirty years, after which he went to work for Hale Trailer for 4 years and then to Good Will for 8 years. Vince was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Maple Shade, a member of the American Legion Post#281 in Blackwood and volunteered as a Cub Scout leader. Vince was known to many as "Mr. Fixit". He enjoyed classic cars and trips to the casino's. His family meant the world to him.
Beloved husband of the late Joanne, who passed away in 2016, loving father of Vincent M. (Jennifer) Durso, Robert S. Durso, and Dana M. Durso (Donald Kirk), cherished grandfather of Michael, Nichole, Jessica, David, Faith, Shannon, R.J., Sarah, Madelyn and Jacob, adoring great grandfather of Elliot and Indiana, dear brother of Frank (Nancy) Durso and the late Phyllis Rodier, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Saturday February 25th,10-11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am. Interment will be private.
