Nicholas A. LaMarra

Nicholas A. LaMarra, Jr. of Cherry Hill passed away on May 11, 2021. He was 93 years of age. Born in Camden on July 11, 1927, he has resided in Cherry Hill for over 60 years. Nick proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. He was a retired self employed paper hanger. Nick was a devoted parishioner of Christ Our Light Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed coaching Cherry Hill Babe Ruth and Little League, and was so proud when his team made it to the playoffs in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. 

 

Beloved husband of 69 years to Rose LaMarra (nee D'Agastino), loving father of Lenora (Leo) Reilly, John (Adora) LaMarra, and Anthony (Christine) LaMarra, dear brother of Regina Richenbach, special brother-in-law of Barbara LaMarra, cherished grandfather of 8, and 2 great grandsons. Nick was the father of the late Cecilia Harvey, brother of the late Anna Carl, and George LaMarra, grandfather of the late Christopher Baggiano.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Thursday, May 20, 2021, 10-11 am at Christ Our Light Roman Catholic Church, 402 N. Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Cherry Hill. Social distancing and facial coverings will be in place.
