Michael S. Stolzer of Cherry Hill passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. He was 80 years old. Born in Philadelphia on June 16, 1942 to the late Frank and Mary (nee Rambo) Stolzer, he was formerly of Roxborough before moving to Cherry Hill in 1976. Mike proudly served his country in the US Army 1966-1968. He retired from Cigna in Philadelphia where he worked as a computer systems analyst. As well as being a member of the American Legion, Mike had many hobbies including golf, gardening, cooking, and traveling to the beach. He enjoyed playing volleyball and coaching his daughters softball team. Mike was a former treasurer of the PTA and room parent at Horace Mann School in Cherry Hill. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and above all cherished time spent with his family.
Beloved husband of 46 years to Sandy Stolzer (nee Johnson), loving father of Julia (Dave) Conti, Lauren Stolzer, and Dr. Maureen Stolzer, cherished Pop-Pop of Calleigh and Delaina, dear brother of Paul (Anna) Stolzer, and the late Peter (Pat) and George, brother-in-law of Eileen and Kathy Stolzer, Mike will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Sunday evening March 26th, 5-7 pm and Monday morning 10-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. His funeral service will follow 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
