Michael E. Dowhy, of Cherry Hill, passed away at the age of 32 on April 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humor, honesty, loyalty, adventure, and a commendable work ethic. Since his birth on September 15, 1991 there hasn’t been a day that has gone by that Mike did not live life to the fullest. Son of the late Edward Dowhy, Mike is survived by his loving mother, Diane; and he was a protective, devoted brother to Michelle. His family circle expanded with the love of his Aunt Lucille Gooch and her husband Bill; his Uncles, John Ragan and his wife Dawn, Sam Ragan and his wife Donna, Dennis Dowhy and his wife Cathy, and Robert Dowhy and his late wife Sonja. Mike was also a beloved cousin to many, a proud Godfather to Savannah Gooch, and a caring and loyal friend that exemplified the true essence of friendship. After earning his Bachelor's degree at Saint Joseph’s University, Mike channeled his ambition and intellect into a successful career as an Enterprise Account Executive at Vector Solutions. His coworkers describe him as “The one to set the bar high with his passion for his customers, and his team. He had a true commitment to excellence, and every meeting we had with him was full of laughter.” His professional drive was matched by his involvement and passion for the activities that he loved. Outside the corporate arena, Mike was an avid baseball player his whole life, he loved the game and treasured his teammates. He got his love for baseball from his father, which was a special bond that they shared. Mike was no stranger to the green fairways, as golf was one of his favorite pastimes. His love for the sport was paralleled only by his enthusiasm as a dedicated fan of the Philadelphia sports teams. Cheering on his favorite teams was more than a hobby; it was a testament to his loyalty and his hometown spirit. Travel provided Mike with the canvas to paint his adventures across various landscapes and cultures. He found joy in exploring new horizons, which expanded his understanding of the world and the people in it. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, April 22nd from 11 am to 2 pm at the Mark C. Tilghman Funeral Home, 38 North Forklanding Road, Maple Shade.
