Mary F. Povich

Mary F. Povich “Nan” (nee Lynch) of Pennsauken at the age of 86 passed away at home on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Mary was born in Maple Shade on February 4, 1937 to the late John and Mary Lynch. Nan retired as a school bus driver for the Safety Bus Company. She enjoyed trips to Cape May and hosting family and friends to get togethers in her back yard. Nan had a fondness for devil dogs and a coke, cooking her Sunday family dinners, and her weekly trips to the hairdresser. She also took pleasure in trips to the casino and listening to Patsy Cline. But above all her loving family was most important in her life.
 
Beloved wife of 62 years to John “Jack” Povich, loving mother of Sandi (Mark) Gnatz, Diana Fecca, Jacqueline Povich, John Povich, Jr. (Cecile Humes), and the late Michael Helmus, dear sister of Francis Fiscella (the late William), cherished Nan of Desiree Helmus, JoAnna (Kyle) Povich-Pardee, Edward Dippolito, John Overholt, Michael Povich, Joe Overholt, Crystle Povich, Sean (Caitlin)Murphy, Nicole DelGozzo, Justin Manghan, Vincent Fecca and the late Stephen Hagan, the late Jennifer Povich, adoring great grandmother to Sean Jack Murphy, Jude Murphy, Fiona Murphy, Devon DelGozzo, Olivia Povich and Michael Povich, Jr. Nan will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Tuesday, October 17th, 12-2 PM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Her funeral service will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
