Mary Emma Kozlowski Panfil (nee Hornberger) of Cinnaminson, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on Palm Sunday, April 14, 2019. She was 97 years old. Born on May 2, 1921 in Philadelphia, she owned and operated Mary’s Shoes there. She was a parishioner of St. George Roman Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed visiting the casinos, telling jokes and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was the last of 12 children and the oldest living family member. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Luke Kozlowski and Edward Panfil, loving mother of Mary Lou (the late Stanley) Borawski, Patrick (Lynn) Kozlowski, Frederick “Babe” Kozlowski and Christian Serpico, cherished grandmother of 9, adoring great grandmother of 7, special great great grandmother of 1, and dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Wednesday, April 17th, 10-11 am at St. George Roman Catholic Church, 2700 E. Venango Street, Philadelphia, Pa. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne, Pa. Memorial contributions to the charity of the donors choice in Mary’s name would be appreciated by the family.
