Mary Ann Berghaier

Maryann Berghaier of Maple Shade passed away on Wednesday January 26, 2022. She was 93 years old. She was born in Tuscarora, Pa. and moved to Maple Shade in 1949. Maryann was formerly employed by  the Maple Shade school district and worked in the high school cafeteria. She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and its altar guild. She was a member of the Steinhauer Park Committee, the PTA and a devoted cub scout mother. She enjoyed bowling with the Shady Ladies bowling league.

 

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Berghaier, loving mother of Jody (Karen) Berghaier, Mark (Gail) Berghaier, dear sister of David, Martha, Evelyn, Erma, Arlene and Judy. Maryann is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends Norma Lutter and Marge Salisbury.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Thursday, February 3rd 9-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maryann's name may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 26 South Forklanding Road, Maple Shade, NJ
