Martha "Tina" E. Montufar

Martha "Tina" E. Montufar (nee Bango) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on Thursday January 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 94. Tina was born on October 11, 1930 in Jeanesville, Pa. to the late Michael and Martha Bango. She had resided in Maple Shade since 1953 and was a Registered Nurse having worked at Cooper Hospital and for Dr. Foreman. Tina was a longtime devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church where she and her late husband Jim were also members of OLPH Seniors. They took great pleasure organizing and attending numerous trips and dances for the group along with many friends. Tina had a love for line dancing along with square dancing and entertaining at various senior facilities with the GAP girls. She also volunteered as a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts earlier in life. Tina enjoyed traveling, cruising, spending time with her family and friends, and staying active.

 Beloved wife of 71 years to the late James Montufar who passed away in May of 2024, loving mother of James (Marilyn) Montufar and Tina Marie (George Klein) Montufar, dear sister of Jean Fellin and Bob Bango, cherished grandmother of Mary Kate (Patrick) News, Kevin Montufar, Kelly Kochan and Kristin (Dan) Garlotta, adoring great grandmother of Gianna and Sophia Garlotta. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and good friends.

 Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Saturday February 8th 10-11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private. Arrangements by the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Maple Shade.
