Marjorie F. Blumenfield

Marjorie Florence Frances Blumenfield (nee Griffin) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on Thursday June 20. 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 68 years old. Born on February 15, 1956 in Riverside, NJ to the late Bernard and Caroline Griffin, Marjorie grew up in Riverside and Burlington before moving to Maple Shade in 2007. She was employed by the Diocese of Camden and worked at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill and then New St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr. Marje enjoyed trips to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg and was a fan of riding the roller coasters. She was an excellent cook, something of which she took great pleasure. Marje will also be remembered as a lover of animals.

Beloved wife of Howard Blumenfield, they were married in 2006, loving sister of Carrie Griffin (David) Meetze, Sharon Griffin (Alan) Marshall, and Connie Griffin (Vinnie) Rossano, dear sister-in-law of Selma and Joseph Pastor, and cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Saturday July 6th, 10-11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marje's name may be made to  Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 3111 Rt. 38, Suite 11 #238, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.
