Marie L. Szczepanski

Marie L. Szczepanski (nee Borelli) of Mt. Laurel passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2020 with her loving family by her side. She was 72 years old. She was born in Philadelphia on November 5, 1947 and resided in Cinnaminson before moving to Mt. Laurel 51 years ago. Marie retired from the transportation department at Holy Cross High School in Delran. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Moorestown, where she ran the youth group and was active with and supported the Tough Love Group for parents of troubled children. 

Devoted mother of the late Maria, beloved wife of Raymond Szczepanski, loving mother of Sheri Halliday and Kristiann Szczepanski, dear sister of John Borelli, Luke DeQuattro (Risa), and Dean DeQuattro (Diana), special aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Marie’s life will be held at a later date after Covid restrictions are lifted. Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
