Marguerite M. Malone

Marguerite M. Malone (nee Stecher) of Moorestown, NJ passed away peacefully at her assisted living residence on January 24, 2021. She was 96.

Marguerite was raised in Riverside and was an area lifelong resident. She lived in Edgewater Park prior to moving to Moorestown. Marguerite was a homemaker, and was very devoted to her husband, children, and extended family. She was a talented baker, who also loved to sing. You would find Marguerite singing or humming as she went about her day.

Marguerite was predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years, Louis, and her 3 children Gerard, Geraldine and Nancy Malone. She is also predeceased by her parents Hobart and Gertrude Stecher, brothers, and sister-in-laws Hobart Stecher (Josephine), Richard Stecher (Helen), and Robert Stecher. Also predeceased by brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Joseph Malone (Cecilia) and Edward Malone.

She is survived by her children Sharon Poset (Dan), Cynthia Hillard (David deceased), and Louis J. Malone III (Kathy). Her three grandchildren, Dane Poset (Kim), Jonathan Malone, Amy Malone, and one great grandchild Xander Loging-Poset. Her brother Donald Stecher (Mary Ann) and sister-in-law Marie Malone, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Viewing, Mass and Burial will be private. Mass will be live streamed at olgcnj.org. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, 383 W. State St., Trenton, NJ 08607-1423.
