Margaret "Margie" M. Weiss

Margaret M. “Margie” Weiss (nee Cooker) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday May 24, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  She was 82 years old. Margie was born on Gradwell Avenue in Maple Shade and was a lifelong resident of Maple Shade.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved time with her children and grandchildren whether we were out and about or just home sitting around the table talking and drinking coffee. She was an active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Maple Shade, where she served in many positions. She was an animal advocate and always had pets throughout her life. 

Beloved wife of 63 years to Roger D. Weiss, loving mother of David (Linda) Weiss, Roger (Bethanne) Weiss, Margaret “Meg” (Paul) Dalton, Brian (Misty) Weiss, cherished grammy to David, Alyssa, Christian, Joshua, Shawn, Tavia, Colton, Menna, and adoring great grandmother to Liliana and Harrison. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday May 28th, 9 am-12 noon at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Margaret’s funeral service will take place at 10:30 am on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Margaret’s name may be made to Samaritan Hospice to Samaritan Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 71425, Phila.,Pa. 19176-1425 or ASPCA @aspca.org
