Madeline C. Thompson

Madeline C. Thompson (nee Fergione) passed away February 10, 2023, at age 85. Formerly of Philadelphia, Pa. Madeline attended Our Lady of Pompei grade school and graduated From Little Flower High School.  

Madeline started working @ Spiegel Catalogue as a Manager then a Controller for Anastasi Brothers Brickwork in Phila. and transferred to Ft. Lauderdale where she resided for many years.  She also worked with Pompano Masonry and McConnell Masonry.

The many organizations she belonged to included: The Women’s Club of Lawncrest, Phila., NAWIC (The National Association of Women in Construction) in FL. and Condo Association in FL.

Beloved wife of the late Gerald Thompson and loving Mother of Gerald Jr. (Michelle) and Stephen (Sandy Nicolo). Cherished Grandmother of the late Noreen (Garrett) Harris, Anthony, Stephanie, and Joey. Great Grandmother of four.  Dear sister of Theresa (the late John) Hoffmaster, Rosemarie (Jim) Apice and the late Lorraine (Paul) Hoffmaster.  Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Friday, February 17th 9:30-11:00 at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd, Maple Shade. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am.  Interment will be in the NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
