Linda (Lynn) Carol Slavin
Linda Carol Slavin (nee Case) of Moorestown passed away on May 19, 2024. She was 73 years old. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Doris Case, loving mother of Laura and Gerard, grandmother of Mia, Emily, Nicholas, Joshua and Lily; devoted sister of Jeffrey and Gregory Case.
Linda preferred to be called "Lynn", and loved to cook and bake. She made a variety of homecooked meals from roast beef to veal parmesan. She baked throughout the year with her two children, but she especially enjoyed baking chocolate chip cookies as well as decorative sugar cookies around Christmas time. Speaking of desserts, Mom had a sweet tooth, and always looked forward to that part of the meal when dining out. Cheesecake was her top choice!

The beach was her sanctuary, and her favorite time of year was the summer, especially the two weeks she spent with her family in Ocean City, NJ each year. Whether it was sitting on the beach or on the porch down the Jersey shore, Lynn was at peace. She frequently said that her best times were spent with her two children in their youth, Lynn enjoyed taking them to various places including the park and to her parents pool.
Lynn had a love for music, especially Elton John, Queen, and above all ...The Beatles! She also felt very connected to angels and collected many types of figurines of the like. Her favorite color was purple, and her wardrobe was dominated by many shades of that color.
Lynn worked in the fashion industry. She volunteered for charitable organizations including Deborah Hospital.
She always made certain birthdays and Christmas were special for her family, especially for her children. She was born on Christmas day.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda's name may be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center, 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015 or @deborahfoundation.org
