Linda R. Emberger

Linda R. Emberger (nee Tompkins) of Pennsauken passed away peacefully on Friday March 28, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was 77 years of age. She was born on June 21,1947 in Philadelphia to the late Arthur and Caroline Tompkins. Linda was a resident of Maple Shade before moving to Pennsauken 15 years ago. She was employed at Whitman's Candy in Philadelphia before retiring. Linda enjoyed playing bingo with the Pennsauken senior group and also took pleasure in ceramics. She was especially proud of her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Robert who passed away in 2009, loving mother of Barbara (Guy) DiPatri and Debra (Steven) Quintus, cherished grandmother of Jessica and Cole DiPatri, Phillip and Phoebe Quintus, dear sister of David and Lorraine Tompkins, and the late Thomas Tompkins, sister-in-law of Maryanne Tompkins, also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Thursday evening April 3rd, 6-8 PM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Funeral service will follow at 8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
