Lillian A. Reader

Lillian A. Reader (nee Rahn) of Maple Shade passed away on January 26, 2023. She was 89 years old. Born in Maple Shade on September 2, 1933 to the late Christian and Helen Rahn. Lillian worked as secretary to the vice principal at Maple Shade High School for over 20 years. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Among her many hobbies, she enjoyed playing cards with the Maple Shade Seniors, dancing and bowling. Lillian loved to spend time with her family on Long Beach Island. Her family was everything to her, she especially enjoyed her grandchildren. 

 

Beloved wife of the late James A. Reader, Sr. who passed away in 2015, loving mother of Debra Reader, Christine Renteria, James Reader, Jr., Scott (Diane) Reader, and Mark (Diana) Reader, dear sister of June Rahn, cherished grandmother of Robert Anzidei, Ryan Reader, Kristina Marie Bowen, Megan (Ryan) Tunney, Jaclyn (Andrew) Schmehl, Sean (Sara) Reader, Alexis Reader, Samantha Reader, Taylor Reader, Matthew Reader, Devin Reader, adoring great grandmother of Daulton, Shane, Chase, Ava, Sloane, Brynnley, Thomas, Jay, Raelyn and Andrew, and also many nieces and nephews.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Friday February 3rd, 10-11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Entombment will be in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill.
