Lee A. Hopkins

Lee Hopkins of New Egypt, NJ passed away suddenly on March 28, 2020. He was 62 years old. Born in Trenton on April 24, 1957, Lee remained a lifetime resident of Cream Ridge and New Egypt. Lee proudly served his country in the US Marines and retired self-employed in the water treatment and pump business. Lee enjoyed restoring cars, riding his Harley, hunting, but above all he was devoted to his children, and his grandchildren meant the world to him.

Lee was the beloved husband of the late Jeanette Hopkins (nee Cheke), loving father of Crystal O’Mara and her husband Bill, Nicole Porter and her husband David, Lee “Petie” Hopkins and his wife Kerri, dear brother of Brenda Dancer and her husband Ronald, his devoted companion Lori Finucan, cherished grandfather of Mason and Cash O’Mara, Maddie and Teagan Hopkins, and Kenzie, Weston, and Zoey Porter, Lee was the son of the late Russell “Pete”  and Grace Hopkins.

Funeral service for Lee will be private. Memorial contributions in Lee’s memory may be made to Toys for Tots, “In Memory Program” at toysfortots.org.
