Lawrence S. Leinheiser

Lawrence S. Leinheiser of Moorestown passed away peacefully on Thursday December 14, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was 75 years old. Born on September 1, 1948 to the late Albert and Virginia Leinheiser, he was a longtime resident of Moorestown. Larry proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1966-1970 during the Vietnam War. He retired after 41 years as a Systems Technician with Verizon in Philadelphia. Larry enjoyed traveling with his wife Sharon in their R.V. He liked to bowl and was a former bowling coach in Moorestown and was an avid fan of Babe Ruth Baseball in Moorestown where he coached for 12 years and umpiring all over South Jersey for 10 years. In his spare time, Larry could be found watching Television or on his computer and Facebook. Being a loving hearted man, he adopted several children and grandchildren as his own. 
 
Beloved husband of 54 years to Sharon Leinheiser (nee Slaughter), loving father of Lisa Cenneno and Mark (Candace) Leinheiser, cherished grandfather of Daniel (Bree) Cenneno, David Cenneno and Alyssa (Codi) Cenneno, Jaydon Leinheiser and Kira Leinheiser, dear great grandfather of Enzo Krop, Marcy Krop and Scarlett Krop, Salli (Jerry) Noack, and Keanna and Caleb. 
 
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Thursday December 21st, 5-7 PM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 North Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Larry's funeral service will follow at 7 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
