Lawrence M. Gadaleta, Sr. age 92, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Lower Makefield in Yardley, Pa. Born in Philadelphia on April 3, 1929 he resided in Langhorne, Pa for many years before retiring to Cape May Courthouse, NJ. Larry proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, and retired after almost 50 years from A&P and Super Fresh where he worked as a butcher. He enjoyed fishing, all types of sports, and playing and teaching his family to play cards. Larry's greatest joy was spending time with his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Gadaleta, he was the loving father of Michelle (Jim) Crawford, Patty (Bill) Hartzell, Larry (Pat) Gadaleta and Jerry Gadaleta, dear brother of Joe (Phyllis) Gadaleta, Sonny (Elaine) Gadaleta, Andrew (the late Anne) Gadaleta, Terry (the late Ursal) Watson, Lorry (the late Vito) Romano, and Jean (the late Del) Hitch, cherished grandfather of B.J. (Deanne) Hartzell, Meghan (Tom) Garland, Kaitlyn (Gary) Oakley, Kellie Gadaleta, and Larry Gadaleta, adoring great grandfather of Riley, Clayton, Sloan, Gary and Hayden, and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral and interment will be private.
