Karl E. Kornsey

Karl E. Kornsey of Maple Shade passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 2, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia on December 7, 1954 to the late Joseph and Rita Kornsey. Karl was a lifelong resident of Maple Shade and a retired carpenter. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Karl was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan and enjoyed fishing and boating. He lived his life as a very simple man, and required little to make him happy. Karl cherished the title "Worlds Greatest Pop" to Lilly and Hannah. Among his many attributes, he will be remembered for helping others through the "Gift of Life" so that others may continue life's journey.

Beloved husband of 47 years to Donna Kornsey (nee Lombardi), loving father of Karla (Justin) Rubini, cherished and devoted Pop of Lilly and Hannah, dear brother of Terry (Craig) Ellis, Rita (Ted) Falkinburg, and the late Joe Kornsey (Dorothy) special brother-in-law of Lynn (Pat) Locantore, and the late Michael Lombardi, Karl will also be missed by his faithful pal Buddy, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and good friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with his family on Thursday August 8th, 8:30-10:30 AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the visitation 11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Interment will be private.
