June L. Boyne (nee Countiss), 87, of Mt. Ephraim, passed away peacefully on January 9th due to complications of Covid-19. June was a longtime resident of Haddon Heights where she raised her family of six children with unconditional, loving care. She was known for welcoming all into her home and loved cooking, baking, and continually adding new recipes to her many delicious, well-loved favorites. She was the ultimate optimist who believed everything happens for a reason. She loved spending time with her friends and family and her distinctive, infectious laugh made everyone burst out giggling. She enjoyed bowling and getting together regularly to play pinochle with her girlfriends, but nothing compared to the closeness she shared with her sisters Eileen and Billie. June later worked as a property manager at Lakeside Apartments in Woodbury, retiring after 16 years. She had a truly kind, thoughtful and generous nature, always helping others, running errands and cooking meals for friends or neighbors. Once retired, she doted on her grandchildren whom she absolutely adored.
Beloved mother of Edward Carr (Susan) of Haddon Heights, Holly Borasi (James) of Marmora, Albert Boyne of Mt. Ephraim, Frank Boyne of Wildwood, FL, Audra Fletcher (Christopher) of Haddon Township, and the late Michael Carr. Dear sister of Billie Pancrazio and the late Eileen Badiali. Loving grandmother of Edward Jr., Stephen, Garrett, Jacob, Allison, Lauren, Ava and Christopher. Adoring great-grandmother of Ellie and a great-grandson expected in May.
Funeral service and interment will be private. The family wishes to thank the first responders/healthcare community who selflessly put their lives at risk everyday. Memorial contributions may be made in June's name to Samaritan Hospice at
