Julia “Sheila” M. Merry

Julia M. “Sheila” Merry (nee McAuliffe) age 86 of Moorestown passed away on August 24, 2022. She was born in County Kerry, Ireland and left there in 1953 along with her brother Connie to Lansing, Michigan where she took a job as a hairdresser. She met her late husband Matt and they operated a dairy farm in Mt. Laurel, after which they continued to work together and ran a successful business in the food service industry before retirement. Sheila enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter and her great grandchildren and great great grandchild.

Beloved wife of the late Matt Merry and late daughter Peggy who both passed away in 2016, dear sister of the late Connie, Michael and David McAuliffe, and Peggy Horan, Julia is survived by her loving granddaughter Jessica (Matt) Duffield, her great grandchildren Emma, Lennon (King) and Ridley, and a great great grandchild Haven Cagle her sisters Phyllis Cotter of Ireland and Kay Conboy of Australia, also survived by her sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
