Judith B. Ries (nee Bell) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 26, 2021. She was 91 years of age. Born in Rancocas, she was a resident of Maple Shade for 65 years. Judy worked as a secretary for RCA, and a bookkeeper for Van Air Hydraulics for many years. She was a longtime, devoted member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Maple Shade. She was a volunteer with the Maple Shade Rotary, and was an avid antique doll collector. Judy and her late husband Bob donated the beautiful clock at the Gazebo Park in Maple Shade. She enjoyed traveling to see Broadway shows, relaxing in her backyard pool and spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Ries, loving mother of Barbara (Steve) Fox, Wendy (Chas) Whalen, dear sister of Connie (Albert) Woolston, and Donald (Joyce) Bell, cherished grandmother of Jeff (Anne), Chris (Rachel), and Chas (Kaity), adoring great grandmother of Ries, Laurelei, Tabitha, Eloise, Connor and Brayden, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Wednesday evening, June 2nd 5-8 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade.
