Josephine Hopkins-Palmieri

Josephine Hopkins Palmieri (nee Cannella) age 59 of Pennsauken passed away on Wednesday July 6, 2022. Born in Queens, NY on August 28, 1962, she was formerly of Burlington Twp before moving to Pennsauken 15 years ago. Josephine worked as a manager at Wegman’s in Cherry Hill, and was known as a very hard worker. Josephine enjoyed trips to the casino’s, and dearly loved being a grandmother.

Beloved wife of 15 years to Gary Palmieri, loving mother of Luca, Justin, Jamie and Donald, dear daughter of Patricia Cannella (the late Michael), devoted sister of Michael (Gloria) Cannella, Carolyn (Charlie) Cavanaugh, Stephen Cannella and Theresa Cannella, cherished grandmother of Andre, Isaiah and Ava, and special aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Monday, July 11th, 9-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Josephine’s funeral service will follow the visitation at 11am at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
