Josephine L. Greco

Josephine L. Greco of Pennsauken passed away peacefully on Saturday July 13, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 91 years old. Born on September 16, 1932 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. to the late Nicholas and Aida Lorusso. Josephine was well know for her homemade pasta, bread and pizza, and was a connoisseur of all types of candy and sweets. When not busy cooking, sewing, crocheting or quilting, she could be found sitting on her porch watching the birds. Josephine was quite the jokester and very happy with the simple things in life. She was a devout catholic and attended mass regularly. She had a lifelong devotion to the Blessed Mother and the rosary. Above all Josephine will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 

Beloved wife of the late Dominic Greco, Sr., loving mother of Joseph (Dolores) Greco, Mary (the late Joseph) Lucidi, Bernadette (the late John) McNulty, Rita (John) Wisniewski, Valerie Greco, Anne (Nick) Haday, Josephine (James) Heisler, Dominic (Dawn) Greco, Nicholas (Connie) Greco, Elizabeth (Michael) D'Antonio, and Angela (Michael) D'Onofrio, 17 grandchildren, 12 (13 on the way) great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, dear sister of the late Nicholas, Vincent, Samuel, Dominic, Joseph, Lawrence and Beatrice. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Thursday July 18th, 6-9 PM and Friday morning 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 19th, 11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
