Joseph D. Spisk age 78 of Maple Shade passed away suddenly on Monday, January 21, 2019. Joe was born on January 7, 1941 in Philadelphia, and resided in Pennsauken before moving to Maple Shade 18 years ago. He worked as a machinist and an electrician, and was known to be able to “fix anything”. He enjoyed his most recent job as a crossing guard at Mill Rd and Fellowship Rd in Maple Shade. He was fond of feeding the birds and squirrels, liked to fish and garden. His number one priority was spending time with his family. Beloved husband of 57 years to Judith Spisk (nee Lips), loving father of Michael Spisk, Dottie Spisk and the late David Spisk, cherished grandfather of Amber Knox, also survived by his cat Noel, Joe was the nephew of the late Ruth and Louis Martin, and brother-in-law of the late Robert Lips. Friends and relatives are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family, on Saturday, January 26th, 9-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade.
