Joseph A. McGuigan, Sr.

Joseph A. McGuigan, Sr. age 77 of Maple Shade passed away on Wednesday February 3, 2021. Born on August 12, 1943, Joe was a lifelong resident of Maple Shade and proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Joe worked as a self employed carpet installer and also delivered for Dominos Pizza for over 20 years. Joe enjoyed golfing, fishing, shooting pool and playing washers. His greatest love was spending time with family and family gatherings of all kinds.

Son of the late James and Lillian McGuigan, Loving father of Joseph A. McGuigan, Jr., Mark, and the late Greg, cherished grandfather of Justin and Alyssa, his former wife Lisa McGuigan, dear brother of James (Mary) McGuigan, John McGuigan, Jerald McGuigan, Jeffrey (Joanne) McGuigan, and Jude (Cheryl) McGuigan. Joe is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Wednesday, February 10th, 11 am - 1 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Funeral service and interment will be held privately. Social distancing will be in place, facial coverings are required and guests are asked to please return to their cars after paying their respects so others may do the same.
