Joseph F. Krause

Joseph F. Krause of Maple Shade passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021. He was 87 years old. Born in Philadelphia, he resided in Maple Shade for the last 58 years. Joe retired from Philadelphia Life Insurance, where he worked in the accounting department for 30 years, and was employed at the Cherry Hill Township Municipal building after retirement. He was an avid baseball fan, and enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Joe took great pleasure attending family gatherings, had a wonderful sense of humor, and was well loved by many.

Beloved husband for 62 years of Marlene Krause (nee O'Donnell), loving father of Karen (Alan) Downs, Mark (Kathleen) Krause, and Marlene (Kevin) Snowden, cherished Poppy of Lesley, Andrew, Kayla, Mark Jr., Matthew, Ryan and Kyle, adoring great grandfather of 8, dear brother of Conrad Krause.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Thursday evening, September 23rd, 7-9 pm and Friday morning 8:30-9:30 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 24, 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
