Joseph P. Gardner

Joseph P. Gardner of Pennsauken passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2022. He was 58 Years old. Joe was born in Camden on June 3, 1964 and grew up in Maple Shade. He was employed by Docutrend in Pennsauken. Joe was an avid Philly sports fan, and in particular the Flyers. He enjoyed playing poker, photography, camping, and yearly family vacations to the Outer Banks. His greatest joy was spending time with his loving family and particularly looked forward to Sunday family dinners. Beloved husband of Diane Gardner (nee Goley), loving father of Paul (Jen), Nicole (Louie), Eric (Michelle), and Laura, dear brother of Robert, Jr. (Patricia) Gardner, Cheryl Ann (Curt) Schaaf, and Christina Crowthers, dear uncle to many nieces and nephews, dear son of the late Robert and Dorothy Gardner. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Saturday, September 10, 2022, 9-11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Memorial service will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In honor of Joe, the family requests that anyone with Philadelphia Flyer jerseys to please wear them to the services.
