John C. Rein of Pennsauken passed away on December 3, 2021, he was 82 years old. John was born in Philadelphia and lived in many places during his working years, before settling in Pennsauken 26 years ago. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Occupation and worked as Plant Manager for Leco Corp, based out of St. Joseph, Michigan. John was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, a member of the Mastbaum Alumni, Phila.,Pa., the Jaycees in Elwood City, Pa., as well as the Northkill Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed nature and hiking. John loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
Beloved husband of 56 years to Judith Rein (nee Owens), devoted father of Christine (Robert) Payne of Maple Shade, Judith (Rodney) Doll of Canton, Ohio, dear brother of Margaret Fuast, Walter Rein, Anna Aites, Chester Rein, Stanley Rein, Dorothy Sokolski, Jeanette Sullivan and Patricia Rieck, loving grandfather of Nicolette (Sean) Rein, John Knast, Samantha (Julius) Reveche, Dustin Doll, Max Doll and Katie Doll, Sarah Tomassky, proud great grandfather of Tori Marie, Mia Juliana, Elliott Robert, Gabriella, Natalie, Mollie, Blake, Ryder and Mason, and beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was the son of the late Edward and Helen Rein and brother of the late Edward Rein, Emily Walters, Joseph Rein, Joan Kadjer and Francis Rein.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Wednesday evening, December 8th, 6-9 pm and Thursday morning 9:30-10:30 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken, NJ.
