Joan M. Lynch

Joan M. Lynch (nee Hennessey) of Medford Lakes passed away peacefully at home on Sunday July 30, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was 91 years old. Born in Philadelphia, Joan resided in Maple Shade for over 60 years before moving to  West Berlin and then to Medford Lakes. She retired from Macy’s in Cherry Hill where she worked for over 30 years. Joan was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and the Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of the Leisure Club and TOPS in Maple Shade. Joan loved traveling to the Jersey shore and Aruba, but her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family.
 
Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Lynch, Jr., loving mother of Debbie (Jim) Dungee, Sharon (Todd) Topf, John C. Lynch, Joseph III (Monica) Lynch, and Maureen “Renee” Maahs and her partner Joe Fisher, and the late Roseann and Billy, cherished grandmother of Brenda, Patrick, Laura, Jessica, Daniel, John Jr., Erica, Joseph IV, Stefanie, Monica, Thomas and Jason, dear great grandmother of 23, Joan also leaves behind a brother, sisters and many nieces and nephews.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Monday August 7th, 6-8 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 8th, 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Interment will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made in Joan’s name to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia @chop.edu or the Animal Welfare Assoc @awanj.org
