Joan M. Foy (nee Reiling) of Mt. Laurel passed away peacefully on Saturday November 23, 2019. She was 85 years old. She was born in Philadelphia on December 31, 1933, and resided in Maple Shade for over 55 years before moving to Mt. Laurel. Joan was a longtime, faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, and a devoted member of the Altar Rosary Society. She also belonged to the Leisure Club, TOPS and actively volunteered with the Little League, all of Maple Shade.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas D. Foy, Sr., loving mother of Thomas, Jr. and his wife Patricia, Stephen and his wife Charlene, Francis and his wife Michele, and Charles and his wife Pauline, dear grandmother of 10, and great grandmother of 12, devoted sister of Gerry Holdsworth, Charles Reiling, Jr. and his wife Betty, and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Charles and Florence Reiling, and sister of the late James Reiling.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Tuesday, December 3rd, 7-9 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 4th, 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment will be in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ
