Jean E. Church

Jean E. Church (nee Weist) of Sicklerville and formerly a longtime resident of Maple Shade, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 11, 2023, with her loving daughter at her side. Born in Chester, NJ on April 21, 1936 to the late George and Florence Weist. Jean was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She and formerly worked at Gem Caterers, and was also a crossing guard in Maple Shade. Jean enjoyed flowers and working in her garden.

Beloved wife of the late Ralph O. Church, Jr. and mother of the late Ralph O. Church, IV, she is survived by her cherished daughter Donna Gatti, her dear sister-in-law of Terry Weist and her loving aunt Bette Nowakowski, Jean will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Wednesday May 17th, 10 am - 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery, Cherry Hll. Memorial contributions may be made in Jean's name to Deborah Hospital Foundation @deborahfoundation.org
