Jean Baisley

Jean Baisley passed away on Sunday, January 6, at Artis Senior Living in Evesham, NJ, at the age of 94. Jean was born on December 13, 1929, in Queens, NY, and later moved to Stony Point, NY.  She was employed as a purchasing clerk at Orange and Rockland Utilities, retiring in 1999. Jean’s greatest joy was the role of mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially if it included shopping and going out to eat, sewing, traveling to the Bahamas and the shore. She was also a lover of all animals.

Jean is predeceased by her husband, Royal Baisley, her parents William Henry and Ernestine Stratton, and brother William Stratton (Anne).  She is survived by her two beloved children, Patricia Carruth (Daniel), Royal Baisley (Mary), and two cherished grandchildren, Ashley and Christopher, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Monday, January 15th from 6 to 8 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 North Forklanding Road, Maple Shade, NJ. Graveside service will be held 12 pm, Tuesday, January 16 at Mt. Repose Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY.
