Jay Irving Perney

Jay Irving Perney, age 67 of Clementon, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, March 8, 2021. He was born in Abington, Pa. and was a longtime South Jersey resident. Jay retired as a forklift operator, and proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed restoring cars, building model cars, and liked anything to do with car racing. Jay especially cherished spending time with his grandchildren.

Survived by his beloved wife Jean, loving father of Jennifer (Lou) St Pierre, Ben (Shannon) Perney, Ryan (his fiancée, Amber) Perney, cherished grandfather of Tristan, Leila, and Presley. 

Relatives and friends are invited to an informal celebration of Jay’s life on Sunday, March 14th, 2- 4 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade. Social distancing will be in place, and facial coverings are required. Memorial contributions in Jay’s memory to the ASPCA @aspca.org
