Janet Del’Marmol

Janet Del’Marmol (nee Edgar) of Maple Shade passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88 years old. Janet was born on December 18, 1933 in Philadelphia and was formerly of Cherry Hill before moving to Maple Shade 35 years ago. Janet retired from the CWA union member job where she loved working alongside her co-workers and seeing what she referred to as “her students at Cherry Hill East cafeteria”.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Maple Shade. She enjoyed crafts, including wreath making, and flowers. Janet  will be dearly missed by her loving family and her cats. She is now in her forever home.

 

Loving mother of Karen Del’Marmol, Susan (Robert) Kammerhoff, Erica (Todd) Leister, and George Del’Marmol, cherished grandmother of Michelle, Karl, Gil-Estel and Quinton, adoring great grandmother of Dillon, Mikayla, Carter, Jayden and Kingsley, Janet is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with her family on Saturday, October 22, 2022, 9 - 11 am at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. A memorial service for Janet will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. Contributions in Janet’s name may be made to the Humane Society @humanesociety.org
