James J. Healey age 91, of Cinnaminson passed away on Thursday May 16, 2024 at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees. He was born in Philadelphia and was a resident of Cinnaminson for over 50 years. Jim retired from Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, where he worked in the maintenance department. He looked forward to spending time on the beach in Wildwood, fishing and attending the Irish Festival every year there. He enjoyed playing Bocce and liked to bowl. Jim was also well known as a conversationalist, and took pleasure in talking to everyone he met. He also enjoyed spending time with his faithful canine companion Bentley.
Jim and Cass enjoyed traveling over the years to Ireland, Bermuda, Vegas and taking relaxing cruises. Florida was one of their favorite destinations. He spent many hours maintaining their gardens and lawn. He was a car enthusiast from a young age. He traded car stories with car owners at the many car shows he attended.
Beloved husband of the late Catherine Healey (nee Lieb) who passed away in 2021 after 63 years of marriage, loving father of Nadine (the late Ron) Broomhead and Mark (Joan) Healey, cherished grandfather of Christopher (Lauren), Nicole, Colin, Sean, George (Caitlin) and proud great grandfather of Parker, Saylor and Charlee. Jim will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his family on Tuesday May 21st 10-11 AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade. His funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
