James (Jimmy) T. Gender Jr., age 61, of Beech Island, SC, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 20th, 2021. James was born in Camden, and grew up in Maple Shade.
James was a talented chef who shared his passion and love for food with others all over the world. He proudly owned and operated Chef James Place, a restaurant/catering business in the Chicago suburbs, for several years. James loved spending time with his family, especially his daughters and grandson who he adored and treasured. He found a best friend in a Pomeranian he named Jax who brought him happiness and comfort over the last two years. His smile and laugh were contagious and he will be missed tremendously by those that knew him.
He is survived by his beloved daughters Morgan (Matt) Siepel and Victoria Gender, his sisters Jeannine (Dan) Hagan, Mary Jean (Bob) Kneringer, his four nieces Brianna Gender, Teionna Hagan, Meghan and Jazmine Kneringer, and his grandson Keaton. He is preceded in death by his parents James T. Gender and Jeannine Gender, his brother William Gender and sister Cherie Petrino. His memory will be forever cherished by his many friends and family.
