Ida DiSimone

Ida DiSimone (nee Risorto) of Delanco, NJ and formerly of Philadelphia, Pa passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. She was 94 years of age. Born in Camden, she resided in Philadelphia before moving to Delanco 15 years ago. Ida enjoyed summers at the New Jersey shore. She was an exceptional cook and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother devoted to her loving family. 

 

Beloved wife of 67 years to Ralph DiSimone, loving mother of Dr. Ronald DiSimone and his wife Dr. Patricia Torna, Dr. Renee Berna and her husband, Dr. Ronald Berna, and John DiSimone and his wife Diane DiSimone, dear sister of Emilia (Vincent) Marchesani, cherished and proud grandmother of Ronald II and Anthony Berna, Martha and Ron Paul DiSimone and Bella DiSimone, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews, she was predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Anna Risorto, and her sister Phyllis DiFronzo.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Sunday evening, August 8th 7-9 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 North Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 9th 10:30 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 West Main Street, Moorestown, NJ. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.  Please note facial masks will be required at the funeral home and the church.
