Hilda Linka (nee Zamora) of Pennsauken passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 6, 2019. She was 83 years old. Born on June 12, 1935 in Montevideo, Uruguay she was formerly of New York before moving to Pennsauken 55 years ago. Hilda retired from PNC Bank, and was a devoted parishioner of St. Stephen’s Parish in Pennsauken. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, the theatre, music, needlepoint and cross stitch. One of her greatest joys was her home in Pennsauken. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Linka, loving mother of George (Nancy) Linka, Deacon Fernando (Marianne) Linka, dear sister of Celia Zamora, cherished grandmother of Jessica (Kevin) Pollock, Rebecca Linka, Phillip Linka, Mary (Thomas) Feehan, Paul Linka and Heather Linka, proud great grandmother of Addison, Meredith, Olivia, Deacon and Jameson, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing and visitation with her family between 10-11 am at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
